Rev. Rani August has served as Director of the Berkeley Psychic Institute, located in Berkeley, California, since 2021, where she has the joy of spending her days immersed in spiritual growth, exploration, and miracles.

She is passionate about supporting people as they expand into new possibilities and create more of what they want in their lives. She enjoys cultivating a welcoming space where people can develop their awareness, heal, trust themselves, and take steps forward on their spiritual path. She delights in seeing people work energy to create their own miracles.

When Rev. Rani first walked through BPI’s doors in 2008, she immediately recognized it as the sanctuary she had been searching for her entire life. As a psychic child, she had longed to find a place where she could share her experiences and connect with others who could relate to them. At BPI, she found what she had been seeking and felt fully seen and validated for being psychic.

Through her training, she learned how to create healthier patterns, deepen her connection to herself, trust her own information, and experience a profound sense of spiritual freedom, joy, and wholeness. That journey continues to shape her teaching and leadership today.

After graduating as valedictorian of the Clairvoyant Program in 2010, Rev. Rani continued on to explore many of BPI’s advanced spiritual trainings. These include the Teacher’s Program, Minister’s in Training Program, 1-Year Trance Medium Program, Hands-On Healing Program, Women’s Healing Program, Spiritual Midwife Program, 3-Year Oracle Trance Medium Program, and Trance Medium Teacher’s Program. She is currently continuing her spiritual growth in the One to One Program.

Rev. Rani also regularly gives readings and healings at BPI and enjoys connecting with people one-on-one. Every reading includes a healing to offer greater clarity and support energetic shifts. She is deeply grateful for these opportunities and enjoys helping people connect with their own truth and possibilities.
